The DTaP vaccination protects pregnant women and their babies against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (pertussis). Pregnant women can get vaccinated from the 22nd week of the pregnancy up until delivery. That is why it is known as the 22-week vaccination. Although it is also called the maternal whooping cough vaccination, it is a combined vaccination against three diseases (DTaP).

- HPV staat voor humaan papillomavirus en is heel besmettelijk. Jaren later kun je er HPV-kanker van krijgen.
- Een HPV-besmetting kan leiden tot kanker aan de mond- en keelholte, penis, anus, vagina, schaamlippen en baarmoederhals.
- Het vaccin is veilig. Er zijn geen bijwerkingen van het vaccin bekend die langere tijd duren of blijvend zijn.
- De HPV-prik biedt 95% bescherming tegen langdurige infecties van de twee typen die het vaakst leiden tot kanker.
- Alle kinderen in Nederland krijgen in het jaar dat ze 10 worden een uitnodiging voor de HPV-vaccinatie.
